Welcome to the history of M16 imaging portal.

Thiese are some various pictures of M16, the Eagle Nebula. It also has in it what are refered to as the pillars of creation. Because of its beauty, I have imaged it often and now my son has joined my efforts. I use a color camera, while he uses a black and white camera and various filterrs to enhance the details. The filter designations are as follows: R= Red, G= Green, B= Blue, S= Sulfur ii, H= Hydrogen alpha, and O= Oxygen iii. What the 2 after sulfur and 3 after oxygen means I'm not sure, but I'll update later.
